During your porcelain teeth crown placement, Dr. Douglas will begin by reducing the enamel on your natural tooth in order to make room for the crown. An impression is then made of the tooth, and Dr. Douglas will place a temporary crown for you to wear while your permanent crown is being crafted. During your next visit, the temporary crown is removed and the real one is placed to give you a cohesive and beautiful smile.
